8x8 (News - Alert) is now officially joining Eastern DataComm’s technology product line. Eastern DataComm currently offers VoIP phone systems, networking/cabling, wireless, and cloud communications. By bringing on 8x8, it adds enhanced unified communications, a market that is estimated to reach $96 billion by 2023.

8x8 has extensive offerings within the UCaaS market, one primed to be worth an estimated $28.69 billion by 2021, with a CAGR of 10.6 percent. These offerings include cloud based communications; integrated voice; collaboration for chat, virtual meetings, fax, and mobile; contact centers; and real-time communications analytics. Along with working aside Eastern DataComm, 8x8 counts ReMax, McDonald’s, Allstate, and Netsuite as some of its customers.
