Vibes announced at the 2017 Mobile World Congress (News - Alert) Americas in San Francisco they are now partnering with Google to deliver a new and better business messaging experience for all Android devices.

It has become imperative that RCS (Rich Communication Services) business messaging is at the penultimate in order to enhance engagement, and help to drive business. SMS, RCS, and MMS messages can now be efficiently delivered via Androids, an essential guarantee to businesses in our omnichannel business world. No more messages lost in the shuffle or fear of failed delivery.

Vibes has a vast and diverse customer base which spans over 150 brands globally, including Chipotle, The Gap, The Home Depot, PetSmart, Foot Locker, Allstate, and Ford (News - Alert). With the assistance of the Vibes Mobile Engagement Platform, it will aid in the engagement of group chats, exchange of images, video clips, and GIFs.

Jack Philbin, co-founder and CEO of Vibes, is extremely positive about the partnership with Google (News - Alert), saying, “To meet the needs of today's hyper-connected consumer, every brand needs to engage in a messaging interface. RCS represents an important innovation in mobile engagement and provides our customers with a new, powerful way to complement their SMS programs. We look forward to working with Google to continue to expand the possibilities of business messaging."

Customers will be shaping the direction for the future of the Vibes/Google messaging merger. Users have the ability to offer feedback, which will influence and shape the direction of where the company is setting its sights.
