The cloud is no passing fad. This force to be reckoned with is facilitating innovation at all points of computing; from the contact center, the c-suite and beyond this maturing technology is a key component of digital transformation and the modern digital era. One area, in specific receiving a facelift from the cloud is communications, which presents much in the way of opportunity. Allow me to explain.


We live in a real time world, seeking real time communications, which are coming in the form of SMS and MMS. The mobile messaging ecosystem is ripe for the taking, as enterprises are adding this to the list of communications demands, and now CPaaS providers are starting to get the message and have begun to integrate texting into solutions.
