Vonage Receives Award for Product Line Strategy Leadership
If you ask anyone who is considered “the best” in their field, they’ll tell you that getting to the top requires a lot of hard work and planning. The same goes for businesses, and one company that has planning for the future down to a science is Vonage (News - Alert).
Vonage has just been awarded for its ability to plan effectively by Frost & Sullivan. The company has just recognized Vonage with the 2016 North America Award for Product Line Strategy Leadership. This is the third consecutive year that Vonage has been noticed by Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) in its Leadership Award series, proving that the company is constantly working toward the future.
Over the last three years, Vonage has followed a carefully planned acquisition strategy in order to put together a comprehensive line of cloud communications solutions that can address the various requirements of companies of all sizes, in the hopes of driving growth.
One step in this plan occurred in 2016 when Vonage acquired Nexmo, the world's second-largest Communications as-a-Platform (CPaaS) provider. Thanks to this strategic move, Vonage can now offer its Nexmo API platform, which allows developers to “embed programmable text, chat, and voice communications into apps, websites, and business systems to create deeper customer relationships through contextual communications. This helps drive greater customer usage and loyalty of products and services,” according to a statement.
As a result of this planning and several other strategic moves, Vonage now offers a broad suite of UCaaS solutions with Quality of Service to meet the growing communications needs of companies. These solutions enable businesses to enjoy greater mobility along with enhanced productivity and collaboration for employees.
Vonage’s ability to plan all of this out and make beneficial decisions as it goes along is what made it stand out to Frost & Sullivan. The company is constantly offering new solutions and working to make experiences better for companies of all sizes. Thanks to these well thought out processes, Vonage is now able to offer a portfolio that Frost & Sullivan Program Director Elka Popova happily recognized with the award, saying, “Vonage hosted IP telephony and Unified Communications (News - Alert) as-a-Service (UCaaS) solutions are flexible, scalable, and easy to manage. Vonage offers several deployment options that cater to customer demand for flexibility, cost management, security, and service quality.”
