Phone.com Efforts Rewarded, Named to Fifth Consecutive Inc. 5000
Merriam Webster defines the word dynasty as, “a family, team, etc., that is very powerful or successful for a long period of time.” In sports this is a highly debated topic, but vivid illustrations of domination include the Chicago Bulls of the ‘90s, the Edmonton Oilers of the ‘80s and the Pittsburgh Steelers of the ‘70s; with each team leaving little doubt who was dominating the league. In business, benchmarks are used to declare market dominance, and one of those benchmarks is the Inc. 5000 – a list of the fastest growing private companies in America.
“The Inc. 5000 list stands out where it really counts,” he said. “It honors real achievement by a founder or a team of them. No one makes the Inc. 5000 without building something great – usually from scratch. That’s one of the hardest things to do in business, as every company founder knows. But without it, free enterprise fails,” explained Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg
The Inc. 5000 is compiled by highlighting a four year period with a focus on percentage revenue over that time frame. Schurenberg noted that many of today’s mainstream brands gained a national presence as a result of inclusion in the Inc. 5000. Some of these names include Domino’s Pizza, LinkedIn (News - Alert), Microsoft and Dell, for example.
“Being a part of this list again is such an honor,” said Phone.com CEO Ari Rabban. “As a cloud communications provider, growth is vital to the health of our business and it’s good to be recognized on such a prestigious list for the fifth time.”
Rabban goes on to give credit to Phone (News - Alert).com customers, as without customers “there is no growth,” and by putting the customer front of mind and offering competitive pricing Phone.com finds itself in an excellent position.
