Phone.com, a provider of VoIP and cloud-based telephone services specializing in small-sized businesses and home offices (SOHO), has been ranked twenty-third in New Jersey's 50 Fastest Growing Companies by NJBIZ.

As an innovative, young company, Phone.com has been growing its sales by more than 100 percent each year. The NJBIZ list consists of both private companies and publically traded companies and is an average of total revenue growth and percentage of revenue growth.

“Combining both averages we are extremely honored that we ranked 23!” Phone.com CEO Ari Rabban told virtualofficeresource in an exclusive interview.

Phone.com is a cloud-based phone company that provides innovative business and home phone services for entrepreneurs, home offices, small businesses and individuals.

The 50 Fastest Growing Companies celebrates Jew Jersey’s dynamic companies like Phone.com that contribute to the success of the state’s economic growth. In order to qualify, companies must meet criteria including a revenue size of at least $500,000 within the past three out of four years as well as growth in revenue over a four-year period, from fiscal year 2008 to 2011.

Phone.com is heavily involved in the New Jersey community. Just recently, the company contributed in cash and services to help small businesses who suffered from Superstorm Sandy. Currently, Phone.com is providing free phone accounts to small businesses that lost offices in the storm.

Additionally, Phone.com supports numerous technology incubators and accelerators and provides free service to technology start-ups and entrepreneurs. It sponsors events as well as provides mentorships to young executives in the state and work with both the private and public sectors (including NJIT, TechlaunchNJ, the NJEDA, NJTECH, NJTC  and others).

"One of the biggest secrets to our success has been the state's support of technology ventures like ours," said Rabban. "We've also greatly benefitted from the growing pool of talent supplied by the university corridor ranging from Princeton to Columbia and the ability to find quality local partners who support our business operations and development."

With over 1,000 small business customers in New Jersey and is growing steadily nationwide, Phone.com is deserving of this prestigious recognition.

Phone.com has benefited immensely from support of the private and public sector in New Jersey. “There is a great effort both by the governor and his administration as well as by academic institutions and organizations led by the NJEDA and the NJTC to increase and grow the tech entrepreneurship in New Jersey.  As much as we help young companies, we also are benefiting from such support. Access to capital, real estate and talent as well as marketing exposure are examples of support technology companies can get from the state and supporting organizations,” explained Rabban.

Powered by VoIP technologies, Phone.com offers Virtual Office for small businesses, Phone.com Virtual Number for individuals on the go, Phone.com Home Phone Plus for consumers and Phone.com Mobile Office and Mobile VoIP.
